WELL it was pretty much a bus on a track. It was public transportation for people who may or may not have cars or other ways to get around. We saw some pretty sketchy people on the bus/train. We also saw people in really nice business clothes with briefcases. It was a very weird experience.

WEDNESDAY: The Light Rail
Today we went to the pool and road on the "train". In our heads, we thought this meant an actual train. Like Thomas the Tank Engine...

TUESDAY!!
We have planned out our schedule for the last few days we are here. This is what we are doing today!
We started our morning out at the Waffle House. Just the grandparents and grandkids went. Julie had work to do back at home.
TAN LINE UPDATES
:)
Time to go to Organ Stop Pizza. This is the one place we MUST go every year without question!
This is what the place looks like. We usually sit on the second floor.
Sometimes they have cats dance while the music plays. It's very cute :)
Look at all those buttons! The player controls all the sounds, lights, and instruments in the entire place! It is absolutely amazing how he can do all of that without music notes or anything. It's pure memorization.
Next, we went to the mall! It is a very pretty mall. And it has a carousel in it!!
Liv on her dragon.
Patsy on her zebra!
Andrew and his horse.
Grace's giraffe!!!
Julie had a skirt on so she sat on the bench ;)
HAHA it is a little bit blurry...
We got a smiley face stamp afterwards :) YAY!

Noodle News
Today was all about the waiting to hear if the park's activities director was going to be relieved of his duties or not. The ladies in the pool love to gossip about what is happening around the park. So today, we patiently waited for the ladies on the noodles to deliver the news for the day. Hence the name Noodle News. (We did not make this up, the park's residence have made this up to name their gossip time.)
Unfortunately, or I guess fortunately, the man was fired and will no longer be a leader in the park. There were mixed feelings about this, but overall, it seems to be better for the whole park now that he is gone.
SOOOOOO on to our day :)
This morning, Grace slept in later than usual. Everyone else woke up probably an hour before her. Then we all got ready for the day. For lunch, the kids and adults split up. Grace, Liv, and Andrew went to Golden Corral while Julie and Patsy went to another lady's birthday lunch. And then, of course, Grandpa Kenny was... golfing... who woulda thunk?!
She's so pretty!
Julie and Grace look alike?! WHAT?!
Look at Grace's parking job at Golden Corral! ;) pretty darn good!
The very, very tasty caramel, milk chocolate, and white chocolate fountains.
Mmmmmm :)
Liv's strawberry!!
Grace's strawberry!!
Cute, little Andrew in his hat :)
After that, we went to the pool for noodle news (mentioned above). After that, we went up to the club house and ate dinner there for their St. Patty's Day party!
Liv wore her OCU outfit to dinner... She looks pretty good, if you ask me!
Definitely the BEST picture of the day :) haha look at their faces!!!
Lookin' good, kids!
He finally cooperated and took the picture! Julie and Andrew look so happy! It's contagious!!!
Then after watching many episodes of Private Practice (currently Grace's favorite show on Netflix) all the kids went to Cold Stone to get shaved ice and/or ice cream.

Sunday Funday
Not too much has happened today... We went to the pool, went shopping, went to church, and then to dinner.
Here is what mommy looked like last night when she was sleeping :) Grace took a picture with her!
Here are pictures of our scenic route from our shopping adventure to Bealls to get new swimsuits.
After church, the sunset looked so beautiful. It is like a reversed rainbow! So very pretty!!
When we get home, we eat dinner. Grandma says, "Look! Fish!" I guess her pizza crust looked like a fish with its mouth open! And that is our funny for today... haha (well it was Grandma's funny at least, she thought it was funny)

TAN LINE UPDATE: Day 2
Liv did not go out in the sun today because she burned too badly yesterday. So she went shopping with Grandma.
Julie got to go in the sun today with Grace, though. She is happy about that!
Grace is pretty pumped, too! Day 2 in the sun!! WOO!!! Nice face, Grace ;)
Here are our updated tan lines...

Hello, My Name is Gravy!
So we went grocery shopping after we all got back from the pool and cleaned up. Grace made sure to get her staple item that she always has at school (AKA the staple item that the dining center always provides for her). She's pretty excited to have a bowl with her chocolate milk after she goes on her walk tomorrow.
What a beautiful dinner! It was really tasty!! Salad, ribs, garlic herb chicken, mashed potatoes, and...
ARTICHOKES WITH BUTTER!!!!!!!
So we have two funny stories for the night...
1) Julie is on a diet. She isn't sure if she is allowed to have artichokes but she definitely is not allowed to have butter. Well she was munching on a few leaves, then took a break. About 5 minutes later, she grabbed another leaf AND DIPPED IT IN THE SALT FILLED BUTTER!!! She didn't realize what she had done until she put the leaf in her mouth and tasted the butter. She then proceeded to gasp and grab her tongue. UHOH! She ate the butter... Patsy then freaks out! She puts her arms out and says, "Stand back! Watch out! I can see it! The butter's fat is coming out!" Obviously that was a joke... She was just making fun of my mom for freaking out about a little bit of butter. I now realize after I have typed this out that it really isn't that funny... So I hope you don't feel like you've now wasted your time. Kay that's all...
2) Pasty asked Grace, "Did you eat any of the mashed potatoes, Gravy?" Everyone looked at her and they were like did you really just call Gracie "Gravy"? LOL hope that was funnier than the other one... Get it? Mashed potatoes and gravy? haha okay
Here's a special request from Andrew's dance teacher, Robbie! He did it on a bed! Maybe we can do it next to a cactus tomorrow! Look at his moves :)
